Our Family’s Traveling Story

We’re a family with three young children who share a deep passion for exploring the world together. Traveling with our kids is something we’ve been doing since they were born. And in fact, traveling has been a part of our life story for as long as we can remember. We even have fond memories of our own childhood travels.
In our ‘normal’ lives (which are the periods in between our adventures) Mom specializes in organization, planning, and production. Dad works in the field of computer research. Together, we thoroughly explore destinations, equipment, and routes. We plan and organize family adventures, often blending work trips, short getaways, and longer journeys. Whatever fits into the ebb and flow of daily life. The real magic, especially when traveling with children, lies in seamlessly integrating travel into our routine.
Our approach has proven successful for us. So we’re eager to share our knowledge and experiences with fellow parents. Parents who aspire to explore the world with their little ones.
Curious about how it all began?
We were fortunate to be born to parents who had a deep love for travel, which provided an excellent foundation for our own journeys. Our view of the world is that there isn’t just one way to experience it. Over the years, we’ve dabbled in a variety of travel styles, including volunteer missions around the world, expeditions, relocations, city escapes, skiing, diving, trekking, climbing, and even a year-long backpacking adventure through South America.
Becoming a Traveling Family
A decade ago, during a trip that spanned several months in the East, we crossed paths and embarked on our shared journey. As time passed, our family expanded, and we soon realized that we had no intention of giving up our love for travel, even with little ones in tow. Slowly but surely, we learned the ropes of traveling as a couple with an infant and later as parents of young children. With our kids, we’ve explored over 10 countries on three continents in the past six years (with a brief pause due to the pandemic), and it seems like we won’t be stopping anytime soon.
Why? Because it simply works. Each time we set out, we’re reminded of how incredible these experiences are for us, our children, and our family as a whole.
So this is our family traveling story—a family of five with an insatiable wanderlust, always eager to explore, discover, and embrace the world together.
